Blessed to be gone! Stay away. After decades, we finally escaped the money pit, and more importantly, the inevitable consequences of the HOA's negligent history.
The recent special assessment check for $3500 was the final straw. They decided to rip off all the roofs, even the ones that had been redone in the past few years, and replace them with brand new ones. They had already redone the pools a couple of years ago and came knocking. Now, they jack up our dues every year, like they have to jack up the buildings sliding down the hill by the high school.
Maybe by 2035 everything will be stable?

Prospective purchasers should conduct substantial due diligence into the Association’s financial condition, governance history, litigation activity, reserve practices, election procedures, and overall management culture before making any investment decision involving this community.
